Days of the week in Russian
Important: In Russia, the week starts from Monday, not from Sunday. Days, months and the names of the seasons must be written without capital letter in the beginning, unlike English.

Russian preposition "в" is used as English "on/in/at" . You also have to use Prepositional case to change the endings of the days.
Examples:
В понеде́льник Ма́ша пойдёт в шко́лу. (On Monday Masha is going to the school)
У нас бу́дет вечери́нка в пя́тницу. (We have a party on Friday)
Во вто́рник мы бу́дем учи́ть англи́йский. (On Tuesday we are going to study English)
Note: "во вто́рник" is an exception. You have to use "во" instead of just "в"
